Parking discipline has been restored in Anugraha, Bangalore, with the removal of 200 unauthorized vehicles.
Background
Earlier, Sattva allotments lacked parking sticker numbering and newer residents were not issued stickers, resulting in around 200 vehicles being parked without valid allotments.
What AAOA Did
- Mandatory parking sticker system introduced
- Unique serial-number stickers issued for privacy, with no flat details
- Sticker charges: ₹25 for 4-wheelers and ₹20 for 2-wheelers
- Code of conduct and penalties enforced, approved at the SGM on June 15, 2025
Results / Impact
Approximately 200 unauthorized vehicles have been removed, resulting in organized and disciplined parking, improved safety, reduced illegal activity, and better space utilization and accountability.
